QualMeeting 3.0 Security

QualMeeting utilizes a security feature on our platform called end-to-end encryption for every session:

End to end security is an added layer of application security. QualMeeting can encrypt all presentation content at the application layer using TLS 1.2 with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 256-bit algorithm.

End to end encryption is also designed to facilitate HIPAA based compliance requirements. 

How you know your session is encrypted:

You will see the end to end encryption icon in the top left hand corner of your QualMeeting window.

There is a lock icon when a session has end-to-end encryption enabled in desktop and mobile clients. 

HIPAA Compliance

Although 20|20 is not a HIPAA Business Associate (BA), we can easily follow HIPAA compliance for your sessions by enabling/disabling a few of our features:

1. End-To-End Encryption will be enabled for all meetings.
2. In-Meeting File Transfer will be disabled.
3. Remove device/user information in logging and reporting.
4. Encrypted Chat will be enabled.
